Funeral Service at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, OK, Monday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Vivian Garza Officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters. Viewing 1-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. thru service on Monday.

Edith Faye (Hart) Wiedeman was born to Milton Eugene and Agnus Lucille (Askew) Hart on February 5, 1948 at Walters, OK and departed this life in Lawton, OK on April 5, 2018 at the age of 70 years and 2 months.

 

Edith grew up at Walters and has since mainly made her home at Chattanooga, OK. She has worked in restaurants for many years including 20 years at El Fiesta Café in Chattanooga. She married Billy Joe Wiedeman on July 10, 1995 at Antioch Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching her brothers race at Lawton Speedway through the years. Edith was an avid OU fan and loved watching NASCAR, game shows, soaps and loved doing puzzles. She also enjoyed frying chicken for family gatherings. She attended First Baptist Church, Chattanooga.

 

Survivors include her husband, Billy Wiedeman of Frederick, OK; 2 step-sons, Brian Doake and wife Lissa of Sentinel, OK, Mark Doake and wife Leigh of Vernon, TX; 5 grandchildren Branda Smith, Angel Doake, Zander Doake, Nikolas Hudgens and Brianna Doake; her brothers, Douglas Ike Hart of Lawton, Roney Hart and wife Lana of Lawton; 2 brothers-in-law, Junior Wiedeman of Faxon and David Wiedeman of Chattanooga; her aunt, Mary Lou Doye, of Lawton; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
