Joyce Bell

Funeral Services at First Baptist Church, Temple, Friday, April 6 at 2:00 p.m., Lee Taylor officiating with burial in the Temple Cemetery under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple.

Joyce Ollie (Isham) Bell was born to Bedford and Allie Mae (Gray) Isham on February 12, 1937 at New Castle, TX and departed this life in Temple, OK on April 2, 2018 at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 21 days.

Joyce grew up at Vernon, Graham and New Castle, TX. She married R H Bell in 1954 at Altus, OK where they made there home for a time. Through the years Joyce was mainly a homemaker but also did some factory work, cooked and volunteered at a nursing home. She has made her home in Temple for the past 8 years. Joyce enjoyed sewing, cooking and working in general. She also enjoyed bingo, fishing, and loved spending time with the kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; 4 brothers; 4 sisters; a son, David; and a daughter, Loretta Davis.

Survivors include 2 sons, Bedford Bell of Temple, OK and Richard Bell of Mineral Wells, TX; 2 daughters, Mary Roberts of Temple, Renea Baker and husband Leo of Rush Springs, OK; 23 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
