Funeral Services at Cameron Baptist Church, Lawton, OK on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Earl Jenkins officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters. Interment in the Cache Cemetery. Memorial Donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Tommy Wayne Whitehead was born February 6, 1960 in Lawton, OK to Tommy and June (Crow) Whitehead and departed this life in Oklahoma City, OK on April 1, 2018 at the age of 58 years, 1 month and 26 days.
Tommy graduated from Cache High School in 1978. He later married Melissa Dawn Keesee on January 2, 1993 in Cache. He loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed playing cards and dominos. Spending time with family meant everything to him. Tommy worked in the grocery industry for over 35 years. He was a member of the Crystal Hills Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa, of the home; daughter Tori and Barry of Edmond, OK; daughter Stephanie and Ronnie of Chickasha, OK; daughter Brigette Stidham and Justin of Cache; son Landon Whitehead and Kaylyn of Cache; 7 granddaughters, Madison, Sion, Makylah, Makenna, Sherydan, Camille and Makenzie; 3 grandsons, Cameron, Teegan and Tucker; 2 uncles, Keith Whitehead and Sheryl of Cache, and Richard Crow and wife Mary of Geronimo; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Brian Keith Whitehead.
