Funeral Services at the Church of Christ, Temple, OK, Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., Don Crow Officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple with interment in the Temple Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Hart-Wyatt in Temple.

Wilma JoAnn Weaver was born to Eunice Leona (Houston) and Charles Orval Byerly on December 6, 1937 in Vanoss, OK and departed this life in Temple, OK on March 31, 2018 at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 25 days.

JoAnn grew up in the Comanche, OK, area but for a time in Fort Worth, TX. She married Elvis Louis Weaver on September 26, 1954 in Comanche and to the union 3 daughters where born. They made there home at Temple where JoAnn worked for Haggar at Temple Manufacturing for 27 years. After retiring from Haggar she continued doing various seamstress jobs, including making Mo Betta shirts from home.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and faithfully spent time in prayer and Bible reading. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, and watching the Dallas Cowboys and OU Sooners play football. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Elvis; her parents; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and 2 grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Ballard and Cody Ballard.

Survivors include 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Jo and Bob Ballard, Julie and Ray Parks all of Walters, Joy and Fritz Burrow of Temple; 7 grandchildren, Amanda Ballard, Dustin Ballard and wife Kassandra, Michael Parks and wife Shena, Ashely Kinder and husband Kody, Travis Jones and fiancé Julia Davis, Tasha Barnes and husband Shaun, Nick Burrow and wife Kristen; 14 great grandchildren and one on the way, Adrianna, Tucker, Elizabeth, Robert, Fisher, Miranda, Kahne, Madyson, Phoenix, John Lee, Carson, Noah, Dekayla and Zayden; many other relatives and friends.
