Christopher Wayne Ely passed away on March 2, 2018 in Tonopah, AZ. Chris was born October 25, 1980 in Ft. Sill, OK. He was the son of Gabriele and Gary Ely. Chris grew up in a military family, living and attending schools in numerous states. He finally made Oklahoma home again in 1995 at Walters, OK and attended Walters High School. 

Chris worked multiple jobs throughout the years and became a proud truck driver for 4 years. Chris enjoyed spending time with his Family. He also enjoyed fishing and using his photography skills as he ventured across the country. He had a love for life that he shared with everyone as he never met a stranger in his life. Chris loved to make people happy and could always make anyone smile and laugh.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Georg And Marianne Keim, of Germany; a grandfather, Roy Ely; and an uncle, Anthony Ely, of Rome, GA.

Chris is survived by a son and a daughter, Bryce and Jayda Ely, Mount Pleasant, TX; mother, Gabriele Ely, Walters, OK; father, Gary Ely, Stockton, CA; sister and brother-in-law, Melissa And Ricky Thorson, Walters, OK; brother, Daniel Ely, Walters, Ok; a sister, Rhianne Ely, Stockton, CA; two Nieces, Alexys Wauqua and Gracie Tahpay, Walters, OK; a very special friend and partner in crime, Ann Harris of St. Louis, MO; other relatives and friends.
