Patsy Jane Minderman

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2018 at Union Valley Baptist Church, Cookietown, OK with Rev. Arbuary Ritter officiating.

Patsy Jane Minderman was born to Quannah Parker and Nellie Ruth (Malone) Griffin on June 3, 1938, at Comanche, OK and departed this life in Temple, OK on December 25, 2017 at the age of 79 years, 6 months and 22 days.

Patsy grew up at Cookietown, OK and graduated from Union Valley School in the Class of 1956. She married Ronnie Martin August 8, 1958 and to the union 2 children, James and Leslie, were born. She went to work in the Cotton County Tax Assessor office on Janaury 1, 1979 and retired as Tax Accessor on December 31, 2000. She had married Gene Minderman on August 10, 1989 and they made their home at Cookietown.

She was a lifelong active member of Union Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and canning, and being a good mother to her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Minderman; her parents, Quannah and Ruth Griffin; her sisters, Joann Anderson and Sondra Kinder; and her brother, Jimmy Griffin.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James Martin and wife Leann of Cookietown, OK; a daughter and son-in-law, Leslie Anderson and husband Nathan of Stillwater, OK; a stepson, Mike Minderman of Iowa Park, TX; 4 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Patsy was a Christian lady who lived by the Golden Rule, loved to laugh and never met a stranger. She will be missed greatly by her family and the many friends whom she made through her life.
