Barbara Ellen Reece was born to Richard Clarence and Elva Edith (Stapp) Reece on September 10, 1943 at Walters, OK and departed this life in Duncan, OK on October 3, 2017 at the age of 74 years and 23 days.

Barbara grew up in the Cookietown Community of Cotton County and attended Union Valley, Temple and Walters Schools. The family moved to Walters in 1958 where Barbara has been an active member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years. She has enjoyed going to Sunday school and church, reading her bible, doing needle point, enjoyed her soaps and game shows, and loved cats. She also enjoyed trips to McDonalds and Sonic. Barbara’s church family and friends were so very important to her.

She was preceded in death by her parent, Richard and Elva Reece; and 4 brothers, Robert, Darrell Ray, Donald and Tommy Reece.

Survivors include 2 brothers, Milton Reece and wife Brenda of Holliday, TX, Dale Reece and wife Darlene of Comanche, OK; her sister, Betty Ann Kimler of Cleveland, TN; 13 nieces and nephews, Jo Donna Barnes, Terry Don Reece, Jay Lynn Corbett, Teresa Austin, Lisa Hennan, Tommy Reece Jr., Pam Spurlock, Angela Magee, Joseph Anthony Magee, Mellanie Branch, Scott Reece, Christy Martin and Misty White; many great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and a host of beloved friends.
