Anita Flood

Anita J. Flood was born October 8, 1961 in Lawton, OK, to Evan Sr. and Delois (Mathews) Flood and departed this life in Lawton on October 1, 2017 at the age of 55 years, 11 months and 23 days.

Anita grew up in Geronimo, OK where she graduated from GHS in 1980. She was a member of the Arthritis Foundation of Oklahoma and the Abundant Life Church of Geronimo. She enjoyed photography, scrapbooking, working on her family tree and riding 4-wheelers. She worked at Gibson’s for nineteen years and taught senior citizens arthritis exercise classes for 3 years in Geronimo, Lawton and Elgin. She was also an Arthritis Foundation Walk spokesperson for 2 years.

Survivors include 2 brothers, Evan Flood Jr. of Lindsey, OK and Terry Flood and wife Lisa of Lawton, OK; She leaves behind 2 nieces, 5 nephews, and other family members, as well as, a host of dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
