Cornelia Jones

Graveside Services at the Fairview Cemetery, Randlett, Monday, August 7 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Arbuary Ritter officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters, OK. Memorial donations can be made to the Fairview Cemetery.

Cornelia Ruth "Nedie" Jones was born to Roger M. and Grace (Penick) Sanders on September 21, 1922 at Randlett, OK and departed this life in Wichita Falls, TX on August 2, 2017 at the age of 94 years, 10 months and 12 days.

Cornelia grew up at Randlett where she married Johnny Lee Jones on June 19, 1940. The couple made their home south of Randlett where they were engaged in farming and ranching for many years. She was a member of Randlett Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, antiques, garage sales and loved to bargain. She enjoyed keeping a garden and was very mechanically inclined.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnny Lee; a grandson, Clayton Lee Jones; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Survivors include her son, Lee Jones and wife Jackie of Randlett; her grandson, Clifton Jones and wife Ashley of Randlett; a great grandson, Hunter Jones and Katheryn Collier of Wichita Falls; a great granddaughter, Lexi Lee Jones of Randlett; a great-great grandson, Jaxon Lee Jones; other relatives and friends.
