Janet Lee (Johnsey) Wolfe was born to Earl Lee and Evie Lena (Champion) Johnsey on September 10, 1952 at Lawton, OK and departed this life in Oklahoma City, OK on June 27, 2017 at the age of 64 years, 9 months and 17 days.

Janet grew up in the Geronimo area, graduating from Geronimo High School in 1970. She married David Allen Wolfe on April 9, 1971 at the Geronimo Church of Christ. They have made their home west of Geronimo since that time and have been engaged in farming, custom harvesting, hauling cotton, doing backhoe work and trucking.

Janet’s kids and grandkids were her life and she loved caring for them. She loved family gatherings and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of 8th and Lee Church of Christ in Lawton, coming there from Geronimo Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant sister, Phillis Ann Johnsey.

Survivors include her husband, David Wolfe, of the home; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Brad and Jami Wolfe of Chattanooga, OK, and Jeremy Wolfe of Geronimo; 2 grandchildren, Gracen and Tracen Wolfe; her sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Vonden Malone of Sterling, OK; her uncle and aunt, Arthur and Nettie Johnsey of Geronimo; a sister-in-law, Reta Stewart and husband Roger of Cullman, AL; a brother-in-law, Dale Wolfe of Chattanooga; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
