Funeral Service at Geronimo First Baptist Church, Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., Rev. John Cullison and Rev. Mike Tompkins officiating. Burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Lawton, under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters. Visitation on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Waylon Dewayne White was born to Patricia Ann (Ferguson) and Marrion Loyd White on February 15, 1971 at Frederick, OK and departed this life in Lawton, OK on May 31, 2017 at the age of 46 years, 3 months and 16 days.
Waylon grew up at Frederick. In May of 1994 he met Pamela Denise Malt in Lawton on a blind date and they later married at Wichita Falls. He eventually went to work for his in-laws at Malt’s Quality Appliance and Furniture doing pick-up and delivery for several years along with other odd jobs. They have made their home mainly in the Geronimo and Lawton area.
He loved his church and church family at Geronimo First Baptist Church where he loved singing on the praise team. He has enjoyed a lifetime of singing and dancing, as he loved 2 stepping with his wife, Pam. He also enjoyed watching Cowboy football and had enjoyed fishing through the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marrion and Patricia White; and his father-in-law, John Malt.
Survivors include his wife Pam of the home; 2 sons, Anthony and Cierra White, and Tyler Edmond Loyd White all of Geronimo; 2 sons by love, Raleigh Scofi and Ben Condren both of Geronimo; 2 brothers, Tommy White and Gary White both of Lawton; 2 sisters, Tina Rabe of Lawton and Amy White of Texas; a grandchild on the way; his mother-in-law, Anna Malt of Geronimo; 2 uncles, Willie Ferguson of Lawton and Jimmy White of Duncan, OK; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Paula and Walter Owens of Geronimo, Phillip and Tina Malt, Ronnie Malt and Andrea Malt all of Lawton; and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.
