Mike Adams

Funeral services at Randlett Baptist Church, Randlett, OK, Saturday, May 6 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Arbuary Ritter Officiating with burial in the Fairview Cemetery at Randlett, under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters. Visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening at Hart-Wyatt.

Michael James “Mike” Adams was born to Shelburn Wesley and Venola (Bartlett) Adams on February 18, 1958 at Walters, OK and departed this life in Oklahoma City, OK on May 2, 2017 at the age of 59 years, 2 months and 14 days.

Mike grew up at Randlett and has made it his home. He was a welder by trade, working for Piping Engineering and ST Piping. He was also employed for a time at Marrant Roofing and Construction as a mechanic. He eventually returned to Piping, working for Cust-O-Fab Specialty Services until the past 5 months working various odd jobs here there. He loved spending time with his family and working on race cars.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Shell and Venola; 2 sisters, Shirley Adams and Martha Fletcher; and a brother, Pat Adams.

He is survived by 5 children and spouses, Billy Adams and Cissy of Randlett, Michael Adams and Skye of Burkburnett, Koby Adams and Ashley of Burkburnett, Brooklyn Adams Miracle and Nathan of Randlett, and Alanna Adams of Byers, TX; 2 brothers and spouses, James Wesley Adams and Marilyn of Hensley, AR, DD Adams and Gwen of Randlett; a sister, Betty Adams Williams of Randlett; 10 grandchildren, Asa, Dalton, Dallee, Presley, Vance, Rylan, Letty, Keyton, Kambree and Weston; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his dog, Poncho.
