Bobby Ray "Buddy" Harris, Sr. was born November 1, 1954 at San Angelo, TX and departed this life in Walters, OK on December 24, 2016 at the age of 62 years, 1 month and 23 days.

Buddy grew up in Wichita County, TX, attending Iowa Park High School. He served his country honorably as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Buddy had worked various jobs throughout his life including many years with the City of Burkburnett, TX, as a meter reader. He married Mindy Latrice Salazar on August 11, 2004 and they have made their home at Walters.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Jo Mathews.

Survivors include his wife, Mindy, of the home; a son, Clinton Harris of California; a son, Christian Harris of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Mary Jo Corey and husband Ron of Burkburnett; a son, Bobby Ray Harris, Jr. of Burkburnett; and a daughter, Brandi Demers and husband, Dwight of Burkburnett; a brother, Richard Fryer and wife Debbie of Burkburnett; Buddy’s twin sister, Alma Overstreet of Burkburnett; a sister, Rayean Jamison of Burkburnett; his best friend, T.J. James of Walters; 8 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
