Lisa Rae (Hooper) Collier was born to Clifford Wayne “Corkey” and Doris Marie (Ramey) Hooper on July 28, 1955 at Waurika, OK and departed this life in Oklahoma City on December 15, 2016 at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 17 days.
Lisa grew up in the Red Store Community and attended School at Temple, OK, graduating in the Class of 1973. She went on to attend Murray State College where she was on the basketball and rodeo teams. She made her home in this area most of her life working for Haggar in Temple, Basco in Waurika and later for ASCOG in Duncan.
She was a good basketball and track athlete in school. She enjoyed watching OU Football and spending time on the computer. She also loved going to the grandkids sports and other activities, and enjoyed getting to see her great grandkid. She had enjoyed attending Hastings Baptist Church, as well as, Crossbrand Cowboy Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Corkey and Doris Hooper.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Miranda Black of Waurika, OK and Tessa Dawn Ball and husband Jeremy of Valdosta, GA; a son, William Chase Collier of Waurika; 2 brothers, Stanley Allen Hooper of Waurika, OK and Michael Lee Hooper and wife Mary of Hastings; a sister, Sanita Marie Graf of Wichita Falls, TX; 4 grandkids, Taylor Croxton of Possum Kingdom Lake, TX, Gatlin Black of Waurika, Gunner Collier of Waurika and Jaylin Ball of Valdosta, GA; a great grandchild, Hooper Gomez; many other relatives and friends.
