Graveside Services with Military Honors at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Wednesday, November 9 at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Sandra Hornbeck officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home. Viewing on Tuesday starting at 9:00 am with a family visitation from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Bobby Lee Watts was born to Garland Gene and Thelma Boots (Hutcheson) Watts on June 13, 1953 in Moore County, TX and departed this life in Lawton, OK on November 2, 2016.
Bobby grew up at Hollis, OK, graduating from Hollis High School as class valedictorian in 1971. He then served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He has made Southwest Oklahoma his home for many years, coming to Walters from Duncan in the mid to late 2000’s.
He attended area churches faithfully and enjoyed listening to preaching on a daily basis at his home. He loved taking sermon notes, writing down scriptures and spending time in prayer. He also enjoyed crocheting, painting, doing crafts, and eating out, especially Mexican and Chinese food.
He was preceded by his grandparents and his mother.
Survivors include his father, Garland G. Watts of Pampa, TX; many brothers and sisters, Louis Gene Watts, Carol Looney, Kelly Ann Watts, Danny Reed, Roy Reed, Susan Reed, Roy Albert Watts, Steven Paul Watts and Terry Watts; nieces and nephew, Venessa Swanson, Laura Mink, Jennifer Shirley and Bear Watts; other special family, Anthony Hornbeck, Paula and Ross Hornbeck; many other relatives and friends.
