Brenda Rénee (Hatchett) Scoggins was born to Raymond Joe “R.J.” and Delores Nell (Smith) Hatchett on October 8, 1957 at Lawton, OK and departed this life in Alvarado, TX on October 30, 2016 at the age of 59 years and 22 days.

 

Brenda grew up at Lawton, graduating from Lawton High. She then completed Lawton American Business College, studying to become an office specialist. She has worked in car industry for the past 24 years. Brenda met Keith Devin Scoggins in 1994 and they married in September of 1997, making their home in the Alvarado, TX, area. She was employed at Owings Auto and loved her job and the people she worked with.

 

Brenda enjoyed camping, fishing, scrapbooking and making baby journals for her 4 grandchildren. She loved organizing trips for her family to get together since her family was the most important thing in her life, next to her Lord and Savior.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, R.J. Hatchett; her mother, Delores Nell Hatchett; her brother, Raymond Hatchett Jr.; and a set of infant twin sisters, Linda Kay and Brenda Fay.

 

She is survived by her husband, Keith Scoggins of Alvarado, TX; her son and daughter-in-law Billy and CJ Kidd, and daughters, Summer and Brooke all of Pratt, KS; her sister, Vicky Scoggins and husband Steve of Seattle, WA; her stepson and his wife, Josh and Meghan Scoggins and kids, Nolan and Nora of Mansfield, TX; nephews, Aaron Petrask, Bobby Hatchett and Gary Hatchett; nieces, Andrea Freed and Lindsey Burnam, and Deandra Pierce; a sister-in-law, Karen Landry and husband Steve; her father-in-law, Doug Scoggins and wife Jerri, and their families; and many more loved family members and friends.
