Darrell McCraw

Funeral Service at Open Door Church of God, Walters, OK, Wednesday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Roger Noland Officiating with burial in the Walters Cemetery under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters.

Darrel Lee McCraw was born to Carl Jr. and Mary Elizabeth (McCarter) McCraw on January 29, 1964 at Ft. Hood, TX and departed this life in Temple, OK on June 19, 2016 at the age of 52 years, 4 months and 21 days.

His early years were in Texas, Washington State, Walters and Missouri with the family finally settling in Walters around 1973. Through the years he did metal fabrication for Amsco Steel in Wichita Falls, operated a backhoe for Jim Calfy and for the last several years has made his home in Kingston working at the lumber yard. He enjoyed fishing, boating, scrapping and hanging out with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl in 1993 and Mary in 2008; his brother, Danny McCraw; a son Gary Wayne Strickland McCraw and a daughter, Amber.

Survivors include 2 sons, Billy McCraw of Temple, OK and Willie Wofford of Kingston; a daughter, Cheri Mann of Temple; 2 sisters, Debra Pittman of Walters, Donetta Harris and husband Billy of Temple; 9 grandchildren, Lena, Jessica, Seth and Levi McCraw all of Apache, Brandon Johnson of Duncan, Leda, Gabriel and  Skylar Mann of Kentucky and Becca Coyler of Mississippi; 4 nieces, Mary Pittman, Emma Venable, Heather Bayless, Becca Griffith; 5 nephews, Michael Pittman, Ricky Bob Harris, Alan McCraw, Jonathan Griffith and Steven Griffith; 13 great nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
