Funeral Service at Brown Baptist Church, Walters, Wednesday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Kent Simpson Officiating with burial in the Walters Cemetery under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters.
Nancy Arlene (Denham) Gee was born to Kenneth Brent “K.B.” and Virginia Harriett (Clinton) Denham on November 20, 1957 at Oklahoma City and departed this life in Lawton, OK on May 19, 2016 at the age of 58 years, 5 months and 29 days.
Nancy grew up Walters and went to work for the Haggar Slacks factory in Temple right out of high school. She married Benny Ray Gee on May 28, 1976 at Wichita Falls, TX and to the union 2 children were born. Nancy made her home mainly in Walters until the past couple of years, living in Geronimo with her sister while battling cancer and then moving into a Lawton apartment in 2015.
She grew up attending church at the Assembly of God in Walters. She loved spending time with her grandkids and spending time at Ila Mae’s house. She enjoyed gardening, referring to herself as a “Master Gardener,” and enjoyed going to the Wichita Mountains.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Gee; her parents; 3 brothers, Wayne, Ab and Alford Denham; a grandson, Landon Dingman; and a great granddaughter, Nevaeh DeFate.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Dingman and husband Don of Walters; a son, Charley Gee of Lawton; 3 brothers and spouses, Kenneth and Mary Ann Denham of McAlester, OK, Jim and Carol Denham of Rush Springs, OK, Ralph and Loretta Denham of Duncan; 4 sisters and spouses, Chloe Jean and Dale Gentry of Austin, TX, Ila Mae and Ron Stafford of Geronimo, Darlene and Ron Headley of Duncan, OK, and Dorothy Dutton of Walters; 10 grandchildren, Felicia Eschiti, Qwenton , Austin and Amber Dingman, Charles and Tricia Gee, Bryce Hartman, Daisy, Nancy and Angela Gee; 3 great grandchildren, Riley Garison, Autumn DeFate and Natalie DeFate; many other relatives and friends.
