Kristina "Tina" Blackstar

Kristina Danielle “Tina” Blackstar was born to Thomas and Alice Faye (Welborn) Blackstar on September 2, 1976 at the Lawton Indian Hospital and departed this life in Temple, OK on May 13, 2016 at the age of 39 years, 8 months and 11 days.

Tina grew up at Walters where she has made her home but for a short time in Lawton. She was a homemaker, raising a son and twin daughters. She enjoyed watching professional wrestling on TV, cooking, listening to music especially Michael Jackson and reading for herself and to her children.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Sean Corbin; her father, Thomas Blackstar; and her grandpa, C. H. Welborn.

She is survived by her mother, Alice Blackstar of Walters; her children, Alan Shawn Blackstar of West Virginia, and twins, Laura Mae and Cheyenne Faye Blackstar of the home; her sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Hayden James of Walters and Dawn’s kids, Aaron, Nathan, Cyrus and Trysta Blackstar; her brother, Rodney Blackstar and Destiny of Burkburnett, TX and Rodney's kids, Emma and Enli Blackstar; her half sister, Connie Dinshah of New Jersey; her grandma, Ruby Welborn of Lawton; and Tina’s best friend, Debbie Vanderburg of Ringling, OK; many other relatives and friends.
