Keith Harmon, 73, Walters, OK Funeral Services at First Baptist Church, Walters, Tuesday, September 1 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Richard Stillwell officiating. Burial in the Walters Cemetery under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters. Kermit Keith Harmon, Jr. was born to Kermit Keith Sr. and Ruby Pearl (Miller) Harmon on June 16, 1942 at Bainbridge, GA and departed this life in Walters, OK on August 28, 2015 at the age of 73 years, 2 months and 12 days. Keith grew up at Climax, GA. At the age of 17 he joined the U.S. Air Force serving as a Motor Pool mechanic. He ended up having to take a medical retirement midway through his intended military career. Since his then he has worked as a mechanic, electrician and worked in the oilfield. He made his home at Guymon, OK, then moved to Lawton, OK in 1981. He married Wanda Mae McLendon on February 1, 1982 and they soon moved to Medicine Park where they lived until making their home at Walters in 1987. Keith enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family. He was a good cook and caregiver to his wife. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Walters. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Chason and her husband Tub. Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of the home; a daughter, La Fonda Limόn of Guymon, OK; a brother, Glynn Harmon and wife Edith of Guymon; 4 sisters and brothers-in-law, Clara and Ray Lagesse of Macon, GA, Gwen Kitch of Yellville, AR, Beth and Jimmy Boyd of Bainbridge, GA, Era and Keith Dann of Geneva, FL; 3 grandchildren, Leron-Mitchell Limόn of Pryor, OK, Airreaun-Ahnna (Limόn) Fowler and husband Ryan of Oklahoma City, OK, Tyler Limόn Perkins of Oklahoma City, OK; 3 great grandchildren, Amilya Limόn and Noah Limόn of Pryor, Jon-Davis Fowler of Oklahoma City; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
