See online guest book at www.hart-wyattfuneralhome.com Virginia Nell (Dunn) Fred Morris was born to Hugh Lamon and Eupha Delia (Hensley) Dunn on September 21, 1930 at Wingate, TX and departed this life in Lawton, OK on August 4, 2015 at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 14 days. Virginia grew up in the Floydada, TX area. She married Maurice Fred on October 23, 1951at Floydada and to the union 2 children were born. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1967. She later married Alton Morris on May 1, 1971 at Lazbuddie, TX and he preceded her on March 13, 1984. Virginia was also preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Joshua Fred; and 5 brothers, Travis, Douglas, Truman, Harold and Jerry Dunn. Through the years she worked as a bookkeeper at several cotton gins and at a lumberyard in Guymon, OK. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lazbuddie, TX. She was a good cook and enjoyed canning, sewing, traveling and fishing. She loved spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Marilynn and Steve Fletcher of Walters, OK; her son, Mike Fred of Angel Fire, NM; 3 granddaughters and spouses, Stephanie and Chad Simpson of Bellefonte, PA, Stacie and Randy Allen of Irving, TX, Holly and Andrew Pulis of Walters, OK; a step-son, Gail Morris and wife Marca of Lazbuddie, TX; 2 step-daughters and husbands, Carolyn and Gary Matthews, Jeannie and David Hill all of Dallas, TX; 5 step-grandchildren, Kia Barr, Cade Morris, Curtis Matthews, Clifton Hill, and Kolton Morris; 10 great grandchild and 8 step-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
