Hilario "Larry" Laguna, 74, of Temple, OK Funeral services at First Baptist Church, Temple, OK, Friday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Roger Noland and Rev. Kevin Simpson officiating. Burial in the Temple Cemetery under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home. Hilario "Larry" Laguna was born to Felipa Gomez and Fernando Laguna, Sr. on April 21, 1941 at Oilton, TX and departed this life in Lawton, OK on May 24, 2015 at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 3 days. Larry grew up in the Pearsall, TX, area and came to Temple with his family in 1960. He and Rose Marie Alvarado were united in July of 1965, making their home in Temple where they raised 4 kids. Larry worked for the Temple Well Service from 1966 to 1980 and then worked for Texoma Well Service out of Burkburnett, TX, from 1980 to 1999 as a rig operator. He enjoyed yardwork which included mowing the Temple Cemetery for a while. He also enjoyed fishing and joking around with the grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gilberto and Fernando Jr.; and 4 sisters, Maria Fuentez, Susan Garcia, Rachel Bernal and Nicholasa Herrera. Survivors include his wife, Rose, of the home; 4 children spouses, Yolanda and Fred Gonzalez of Temple, Hilario Laguna Jr. of Temple, Linda and Camiro Adame of San Antonio, TX, Gilbert and Misty Laguna of Hastings, OK; a brother Delores Laguna of Temple; 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
