Prayer Service at Hart-Wyatt Chapel, Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. Helen Madeline Goodeagle was born to Henry and Lizzie (Nahquaddy) Poemoceah on January 4, 1942, west of Walters, OK and departed this life at Lawton, OK, on January 23, 2015 at the age of 73 years and 19 days. Helen grew up west of Temple, OK, graduating from THS in 1960. She married Donald Paul Goodeagle in March of 1970 at Wichita Falls. They lived at Andrews and Kermit, TX until returning to Walters in 1974. The family soon moved to the home place west of Temple where they stayed until finally making their home at Walters in 1981. She was a member of Emerson Nazarene Church where she served as pianist. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and crochet. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Baron Richmond in 1980 and Shawn Richmond in 2008; 2 brothers, Elmer and Alfred Poemoceah; and 4 sisters, Ioleta Tahhahwah, Velma Valdez, Charlene Ayers and Imogene Mihecoby. Survivors include her husband, Don, of the home; 3 sons, Richard Poemoceah of Lawton, Aaron Richmond of Chickasha, OK, and Johnny Goodeagle of Lawton; a daughter, DeAnna Deutschendorf and husband Dean of Temple, OK; 3 step-children, Johnny Paul Goodeagle of Sterling, OK, Thomas Don Goodeagle, and Candy Toehay, both of Anadarko, OK; a sister Nancy Codynah of Walters; 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren other relatives and many friends.
