Richard Burns "Ricky" Taylor was born to Robin Burns and Jerry Anita (Wrape) Taylor on December 4, 1957 at Walters, OK and departed this life in Temple, Oklahoma on November 15, 2014 at the age of 56 years, 11 months and 11 days. Ricky grew up at Temple, graduating from THS in 1976. He was a truck driver all his working years, hauling oilfield equipment and supplies the last 7 years for A&J and T.S.I Materials. He loved to handicap horses and enjoyed football at every level, high school, college and professional. He was preceded in death by his father, Robin Taylor; his mother Anita Wrape; his brother, Terry Taylor; his maternal grandparents, Gus and Dorothy Wrape; and his paternal grandparents, Earl and Myrtle Taylor and Genevia and Joe Holt; an uncle, Ronnie Wrape; and two aunts, Judy Collins and Janice Palmer. Survivors include 4 uncles, Larry Wrape of Temple, OK, Eddie Holt of Tampa, FL, Bing Taylor of Tampa, Shelton Taylor of Ponder, TX; 4 aunts, Connie Gessler of Tampa, Rita Anderson of Tampa, Linda Contreras of San Antonio, and Judy Reece of Temple; many cousins, Keith Wrape, Jason Wrape, Jamie Tracy, Jeffrey Collins, Rodney Collins, Brian Collins, Kent Wrape, Scott Wrape and Jody Wrape to name a few; other relatives and many friends.
