Nina Denny, 75, Randlett, OK Funeral Services at Union Valley Baptist Church, Cookietown, OK, Saturday, November 8 at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Arbuary Ritter officiating. Burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Randlett, OK, under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters. Visitation was held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at Hart-Wyatt. Nina Fae (Miller) Denny was born to Kelsey Lee and Elsie Malinda (Metzger) Miller on April 26, 1939 at Osawatomie, KS and departed this life in Comanche, OK on November 5, 2014 at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 10 days. Nina grew up in at Osawatomie, Kansas. She made her home in eastern Kansas and western Missouri until moving to Randlett, OK in 1974. She worked in the grocery and food service industry most of her life with the last 10 years of employment as a cook at the Texas State Hospital in Wichita Falls. Due to her health, Nina moved to Devol, OK with her daughter Sandy in 2011 and then on to Walters, OK in 2012. She was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church, Cookietown, OK. She enjoyed gardening, doing puzzles, fishing and camping. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. K.L. Miller; 6 brothers, Bill, Bob, Charlie, Harry, Glenn and John Miller; and 3 sisters, Ruth Pringle, Betty Lyons and Velma Lore. Survivors include 4 children and their spouses, Sandy and Sam Evans of Walters, OK, Paula and Tony Gonzalez of Albuquerque, NM, Brenda and Bill Lewis of Burkburnett, TX, and Brian Bankston; 4 siblings, Donna Burkhart, Osawatomie, KS, Ina Franklin, Denison, TX, June McCoy, Paola, KS and Larry Miller of Springhill, KS; 8 grandchildren, Keith Lewis, Kayla Lewis, Kyle Lewis, Laci Adams, Lonnie Adams, Anthony Gonzalez, Adam Evans and Austin Evans; 9 great grandchildren, Faith Gonzalez, Haven Gonzalez, Josie Gonzalez, Eli Gonzalez, Kolby Lewis, Hayden Lewis, Brileigh Meloy, Dalton Lewis and Natalee Evans; other relatives and a host of friends.
