Rosemary Keesee, 69, of Walters, OK Funeral Service at Bible Baptist Church, Walters, Thursday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. John Carlisle officiating. Burial in the Walters Cemetery under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home. Rosemary Elaine (Pirtle) Keesee was born to Newton Raymond and Edith Mae (Goforth) Pirtle on May 25, 1945 at Oklahoma City, OK and departed this life in Lawton, OK on October 26, 2014 at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 1 day. Rosemary grew up in the Elmore City, OK, area where she graduated from high school. She married J W "Wes" Keesee on November 23, 1962 at Elmore City and they made their home there. To the union 3 children were born and the family eventually moved to Walters in 1976. She worked at the Haggar Slacks factory for a few years before going to work for Coop Service Inc. as the bookkeeper for 12 years. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, scrapbooking, watching sports especially the OKC Thunder, and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, JW, of the home; 3 children and their spouses, Jim and Fonda Keesee of Walters, OK, Melissa and Tommy Whitehead of Cache, OK, Jeff and Sandra Keesee of Elk, WA; 4 brothers and sisters and their spouses, Leon and Charlotte Pirtle of Winnie, TX, David and Connie Pirtle of Elmore City, OK, Debra and Ronnie Baker of Cuero, TX, Joe and Elizabeth Pirtle of Beaumont, TX; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
