Lacy Floyd Mahan, Sr. was born to Joseph Cephus and Susie Lee (Hosford) Mahan on February 9, 1935 at Lyles, TN in Williams County and departed this life in Walters, OK on June 12, 2014 at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 3 days. Lacy grew up at Lyles, TN, until the age of 12 or 13 then moved to Oklahoma where his family settled in the Fletcher area. He married Lillie Williams and to the union 5 children were born. She preceded him in death on November 4, 1974. Lacy built mobile homes in Chickasha, OK for several years and eventually went to work for the City of Fletcher driving a sanitation truck. He had married Hellen Marie Jenkins on October 20, 1978 at Miami, OK and to the union a son, Joe, was born. They made their home at Fletcher, Parsons, KS, Cache, OK and then on to Walters in the later part of 1996. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, going to the park and feeding the ducks. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lillie; and a brother, Wiley Mahan. Survivors include his wife, Hellen, of the home; 6 children and their spouses, Phillip Dwight Mahan and Karen of Andrews, SC, Troy Allen Mahan and Susie of Andrews, SC, Lacy Floyd Mahan, Jr. and Debbie of Lexington, OK, Vickey Dollean Claborn and Alan of Muskegon, MI, Johnny Carroll Mahan of Andrews, SC, Joseph Ralphard Mahan and Amy of Walters; a sister, Joann Kloer of Fletcher; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Bonnie and Linda Mahan of Chickasha, OK, Richard and Norma Mahan of Oklahoma City, OK; 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
