Sondra Kinder, 72, of Geronimo, OK Sondra Louise Kinder was born to Quannah Parker and Nellie Ruth (Malone) Griffin on April 3, 1942 at Comanche, OK and departed this life at her home in rural Geronimo, OK on June 6, 2014 at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 3 days. Sondra grew up at Cookietown, OK, attending school at Union Valley and then Big Pasture High School in Randlett where she graduated in 1960. She married Kirby Adams on January 1, 1960 at Cookietown in a double ceremony and to the union 2 children were born. The couple made their home at Walters where Sondra was employed at the bank. They moved to Cookietown in 1968 and Sondra went to work at First National Bank in Burkburnett where she was employed for several years. She married Travis Franklin Kinder on June 27, 1992 at Burkburnett, TX, making their home southwest of Geronimo in Cotton County. They enjoyed going to Branson and traveling in general with plans of an Alaskan Cruise this summer. She also enjoyed working on the farm with Travis, doing yard work and cooking. She was a member of Union Valley Baptist Church. Throughout her life it was obvious she was a daddy's girl as she was spoiled by Quannah. She loved her kids and grandkids with a passion. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joan Anderson; and a brother, Jimmy Griffin. Survivors include her husband, Travis, of the home; a son, Russell Adams of Randlett, OK; a daughter, Darla Adams and husband Jerrell of Midlothian, TX; a sister Patsy Minderman and husband Gene of Cookietown; 2 stepsons and spouses, Wes and Cheryl Kinder of Chattanooga, OK, Russell and Erika Kinder of Austin, TX; a stepdaughter, Carmen Blevins and husband Clint of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren, Jesse Todd Adams and Clayton Dale Adams both of Burkburnett, TX, Krista Elizabeth Cox and husband Ryan, and Grant Parker Adams all of Midlothian, TX, Jared Kinder of Newton, KS, Jennifer Kinder of Geronimo, Rafe Kinder and Mitch Kinder both of Austin, Kindra Blevins and Kaitlyn Blevins both of Chattanooga; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
