Shirley Hale Lewis

Shirley Hale Lewis, 78, of Tyler Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Shirley was born in Randlett, Oklahoma on August 3, 1935. She was the only children to the late Raymond and Katheryn Hale. She graduated from Randlett High school at the top of her class. Shirley continued on with her higher education at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas where she played college Basketball. Shirley was a beloved member of Green Acres Church in Tyler Texas where she was very involved, and immensely showed her love for our lord. Shirley started the intercessory prayer chapel there at Green Acres. Shirley is survived by her twin boys; Christopher C. (Tammy V.) Sonnamaker of Tyler and Steven R. (Tamara G.) Sonnamaker of Plano. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Steven, Colton, Alicia and Brianna as well as four step children and a step great grandchild (Laura, Amanda, Kindra, Joshua and Parker) A viewing will be held at Tyler Memorial Funeral home located at 12053 Hwy 64 On April 25, 2014 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. A Graveside Memorial Service for family will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Randlett, Oklahoma at a later date under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home.
