Diane Simmons Johnson of Temple, OK went home to her heavenly father on March 4, 2014 of natural causes. Lady Diane was born on August 10, 1961 to Mack B. Simmons Sr. and the late Alma Simmons Henry. Diane was married to the love of her life, Eugene Johnson, for 38 years. Diane and Eugene were the proud parents of Cheree K. Wolfe (Chickasha, OK), Dr. Sharonica Johnson (Lawton, OK), and Brian Wolfe (son-n-law). Her grandbabies, Diane Araba Ashon and Elijah David Eugene Lee Wolfe was her heaven here on Earth. Diane was preceded in death by her brothers Raymond Miles and Matthew Simmons. She is survived by her sister Ida Downing and brothers John Edmerson, Lonzell Lewis, Frank Lewis, N.D. Miles, Lewis Miles, and Mack B. Simmons Jr. Diane was blessed with an abundance of family to include uncles, aunts, sister-n-laws, brother-n-laws, nieces, and nephews. Diane was a shining light to all of her family and friends. She will be forever missed and loved. A wake will be held for her at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, 202 E. Colorado Ave, Walters, Ok at 6:30 pm. Monday, March 10th . Diane's funeral will be held at Temple Church of Christ, 415 N. Commercial St in Temple, OK at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 11th.
