Julie McCraw Magers

C. Julie (Harris) McCraw Magers was born to Olin Bob and Annie Marie (Shelton) Harris on August 9, 1958 at Fort Worth, TX and departed this life in Louisville, KY on December 5, 2013 at the age of 55 years, 3 months and 26 days. Julie grew up at Grand Saline, TX and Cotton County, OK. She has made her home in Temple since moving from Walters in 1980. She married Daniel David "Danny" McCraw on April 3, 1980 at Walters and he preceded her in death on September 17, 2000. She later married Lonnie Keith Magers on February 9, 2005, continuing to make her home in Temple. She was a homemaker, babysitter and second mother to her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed attending church in Walters at Open Door Church of God and Helping Hands Church. She enjoyed going to the lake and swimming. She also enjoyed crocheting and making blankets, shirts and other necessities. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Magers of Lawton, OK; 2 sons, Ricky Bob Harris and wife Elva of Walters and Alan R. McCraw of Temple; 3 brothers, Buddy Harris and wife Penny, Billy Harris and wife Donetta all of Temple, Ricky Harris and wife Lisa of Durant, OK; a sister, Leda Copeland and husband Dee of Madill, OK; a brother-in-law, Darrell McCraw of Kingston, OK; a sister-in-law, Debbie Pittman of Walters; a niece and nephew she helped raise, Cheri Griffin-Fox of Radcliff, KY and Billy Bob McCraw of Burkburnett, TX; many other special nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
