Diane Wofford

Vicki Diana (Powell) Wofford was born to Lewis Sylvester and Pearl Virginia (Gribble) Powell on August 10, 1955 at Boise, ID and departed this life in Lawton, OK on November 21, 2013 at the age of 58 years, 3 months and 11 days. Diane grew up at Shawnee, OK. She married William Porter "Willie" Wofford on September 30, 1974 and to the union 2 daughters were born. They made their home in Lawton and eventually settled in Walters where she was a homemaker and also assisted Willie in the Oilfield. Through the years she enjoyed taking care of her exotic animals, fishing and riding motorcycles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie, on February 2, 2000 and her father, Lewis Powell. Survivors include her mother, Virginia Powell of Shawnee; 2 daughters, Talitha King and husband Gordon of Walters, Diana Fincher and husband David of Lawton, OK; 3 stepdaughters, Clara Ramirez, Portria Short and Trina Menzie; a brother, Frank Powell of Atoka, OK; 3 sisters, Cynthia Wright of Shawnee, OK, Lisa Mavity of Cashion, OK and Debora Stithem of Midwest City, OK; 6 grandchildren, Baylee King, Heath King, Emilia Whittington, Dito Ramirez, Terry Don Short, Jr. and Breanna Nicole Short; 2 great grandchildren, Wyatt and Axton; other relatives and friends.
