Dona Pearl (Turner) Rackley was born to Arnold Jessie and Pearl Niece (Bussey) Turner on February 11, 1928 at Randlett, OK and departed this life in Temple, OK on November 8, 2013 at the age of 85 years, 8 months and 28 days. The youngest and last of 10 children, Dona grew up in Cotton County attending Randlett and Union Valley Schools. She married Lewis H. Rackley on September 16, 1946. They raised their 6 children in Alabama, then moved to California for a time before settling at Walters in 1985. For the past 2 years they have resided at Temple Manor Nursing Home. Until her health failed Dona was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved to work on genealogy and served in many teaching positions within the church. She also enjoyed sewing. Dona was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Pearl Turner, and a son, David Rackley. Survivors include her husband, Lewis of Temple; 5 children, Shirley Haskew of Colorado, Peggy Roth of Texas, Howard Rackley and Dale Rackley both of California, and Gayle Rackley of New Hampshire; 25 grandchildren, many many great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
