Eva Sue (Thompson) Lonsdale was born to Joseph W. and Adelia Maybell (Christy) Thompson on November 1, 1938 at Canadian, OK and departed this life in Burkburnett, TX on November 6, 2013 at the age of 75 years and 5 days. Sue grew up in the Henryetta, OK area, graduating from high school in 1956. She continued to live in the area and was employed for a time at PPG. Sue married Benny George Lonsdale on April 8, 1967 at Henryetta where they made their home until moving to Burkburnett, TX in 1974. The family returned to Henryetta in September of 1991, where they stayed until settling at Randlett, OK in 2007. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Devol. She love spending time with her family, and was an amazing cook and enjoyed baking. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Terri Hoskison; a grandson, Colton Bentley; and 2 brothers, Jimmy and Bobby Thompson. Survivors include her husband Benny of the home; 5 daughters and spouses, Trish and Rodney Griffin of Randlett, OK, Lori and Michael Couch, Lisa Lonsdale all of Wichita Falls, Amy Bentley of Sadler, TX, Susan and Jeremy Dombeck of Mustang, OK; a son and his wife, John and Carolyn Lonsdale of Okay, OK; a brother, Garold Thompson and wife Wilma of Moore, OK; a sister Brenda Martin and husband David of Bixby, OK; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
