Willis Pueblo was born to Frank and Doris Tippeconnie Pueblo on July 19, 1935 at Lawton, OK and departed this life in Lawton on September 11, 2013 at the age of 78 years, 1 month and 23 days. Willis grew up in Snyder, OK, graduating from Snyder High School. He went on to serve his country honorably in the U.S. Navy. Upon his discharge, Willis went to Des Moines, IA, where he worked for the Chicago Rock Island Railroad. He then made his way to Fort Worth, TX, where he worked for the Boswell Ice Cream Company. In June of 1968 he married Lucinda Rose Perdasofpy in Fort Worth and they soon moved to Lawton, OK. They eventually moved to Walters where Willis worked 20 years as a custodian and bus driver for Walters Public Schools. He was a member of the Open Door Church of God in Walters. He enjoyed fishing, reading and was an avid sportsman. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; a sister, Fern Kelley; a brother, Clements Pueblo; and a son, William Pueblo. Survivors include his wife, Lucinda Pueblo, of the home; sons, Tennyson Pueblo and Michael Pueblo both of Walters; daughter and son-in-law, Doris Ann and Jason Parli, of Walters; son, Willis Gilson, of Denver, CO; daughter, Willisa Simonelli, of Orlando, FL; 8 grandchildren, Logan and Dori, Arielle and Ryanna, Tony, Jairus, Nicco and Gianna; a sister, Rita Heath of Frederick, OK; a cousin, Robert Tippeconnie; many other relatives and friends.
