Susan Adele Simpson

Susan Adele Simpson was born to Philip Carl Simpson and Edwina Sue (Sykes) Simpson on November 24, 1962 at Lawton, OK and departed this life in Highland Village, TX, on August 28, 2013 at the age of 50 years, 9 months and 4 days. Susan grew up in Moore and Kingston, Oklahoma, attending Silo and Moore High Schools. She went on to graduate with a Bachelors' Degree in Communications from Southeastern Oklahoma State College before attending and working toward a law degree at Oklahoma City University. She was employed for 12 years with Diebold, Inc. as a Regional Resource Manager of the North Texas Region. She was an avid landscaper and rock hunter, as well as, a rare stamps and coins collector. She was preceded in death by her grandfather-Carl Simpson, grandmother- Laura Adele Sykes, grandmother-Francis Simpson, stepfather-Johnny Ray Odom and grandfather-Edgar Harbison "E.H." Sykes. Survivors include her mother, Edwina Sue Sykes-Odom of Highland Village, TX; her father, Phillip Carl Simpson of Hot Springs Village, AR; her brother, Alan Lee Simpson of Oklahoma City, OK; other relatives and many friends.
