Ruby Marie Glenn was born to Arthur David and Eula Estelle (Coker) Courtright on April 15, 1925 at Frederick, OK and departed this life in Duncan, OK on September 1, 2013 at the age of 88 years, 4 months and 17 days. Ruby grew up in and around Temple, going to school in the Gregg Community before attending Temple Schools. She married Clarence Glenn in Walters on August 8, 1942. They made their home in Frederick for a time before returning to the rural Temple area. They finally settled in town and eventually built the current home around 50 years ago. Ruby went to work as a seamstress at the Haggar slacks factory upon its opening in 1956 and worked 25 plus years. She was a member of several bowling organizations and bowled all over the U.S. and also in Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; 2 brothers, David and Louie Courtright; and a sister, Lucille Mason. Survivors include 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Clarence Richard and Joy Glenn, David Lee and Connie Glenn all of Temple, Jackey Dean and Cindy Glenn of Duncan; her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Doug Grubbs of Windsboro, TX; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Courtright of Temple; 6 grandchildren and spouses, Tim and Tiff Glenn, Phillip Glenn, Kalee and Barry Jantzen, Ginger and Scott LeBarre, Michael and Nichole Glenn, Eric and Brenda Glenn; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
