Michael James Veach

Michael James "Mike" Veach was born to Bobby Eugene and Juanita (McCartney) Veach on July 12, 1964 at Sulphur, OK and departed this life in Comanche, OK on May 25, 2013 at the age of 48 years, 10 months and 13 days. Mike grew up at Davis and Walters. He went to work with his dad at the Phillips 66 in Temple before going to work at TH Rogers Lumber Co. for several years. He was then employed at Country Hardware in Lawton for a year before moving to Wichita Falls were he began a career as a sales representative for Lowes Home Improvement Stores. Lowes moved him to their facilities in Hot Springs, Arkansas and later to 2 locations in Arizona before he took a job with Glass Block Innovations. Mike returned to Walters in 2009 where he has worked at Calfy Brothers lumber yard. Mike enjoyed playing cards and traveling, especially to Old Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bobby Dale Veach in 1980; and a sister, Peggy Long in 2012. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Butch Bellamy of Walters; a brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Trecia Veach of Wichita Falls; several nieces and nephews, Melaney and Matt Bonnette, Callie, Craig, Richard and Clinton, Tara and Brian Strawderman; other relatives and many friends.
