Gene Hilton

Eugene Arthur "Gene" Hilton was born May 11, 1939 at Emory, Texas and departed this life in Royse City, TX on March 26, 2013 at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 15 days. Gene grew up in the Emory, Texas area. He married Margaret Elaine (Abbe) on December 8 1972, making their home in Dallas until moving to Commerce, TX around 2002. She preceded him in death on April 11, 2006 and Gene has since lived in Royse City and Caddo Mills. He enjoyed driving a truck for many years and was otherwise a homebody and enjoyed napping and loved his Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Corey Alsobrook of Royse City, TX; a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Christina Hilton of Caddo Mills, TX; 9 grandchildren, Kris, Brittani, Cody, Casey, Branndi, Nicholas, Ashley, Steven and Sean; 3 great grandchildren, Karleigh, Ansley and Gage; other relatives and friends.
