Rosa Maria Brantley

Rosa Maria Brantley was born to Jacob and Franziska (Schnider) Hassler on August 26, 1938, in Ansbach Mfr Germany and departed this life in Lawton, OK on March 6, 2013 at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 8 days. Rosa grew up in Germany where she married Gary Wayne Brantley in 1964 and to the union 2 sons were born. The couple moved to Ft. Sill around 1965 and then on to Anchorage, AK, Colorado and back to Germany before returning to Lawton. She has made her home in Walters since the early 1990's where she was employed for several years as a cook at the Walters Nutrition Center. Rosa received her U.S. Citizenship on July 31, 1999. She loved animals and enjoyed watching hummingbirds and cooking. She is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Armin and Deborah Brantley of Lawton, Richard and Amelia Brantley of Walters; a dear friend, Byrleta Holt; other relatives and friends.
