Glenn William Harris

Glenn William Harris was born to Wilsie William and Ruby Marie (Rone) Harris on June 27, 1941at Walters, OK and departed this life in Lawton, OK on January 12, 2013 at the age of 71 years, 6 months and 16 days. Glenn grew up at Walters through junior high moving to Lawton where he graduated from Lawton High School. He married Carol Sue "Susie" Mileham on July 20, 1961at Lawton, making their home in the Geronimo area. He and his dad started Harris and Harris Construction and Glenn also worked as an appraiser and realtor, serving on the Lawton Board of Realtors. In 1996 he began working for the USPS as a highway contractor, retired just this past year due to ill health. Glenn was involved in farming most of his life and enjoyed his horses and cattle, and loved his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Susie in 2011; a brother Wayne Harris; and a sister Geneva McIntosh. Survivors include 3 children and their spouses, Cynthia and Mark Cronk of Cheyenne, WY, Stephen and Michell Harris of Wichita Falls, TX, Bryant and Kathy Harris of Lone Grove, OK; 10 grandchildren, Adam Kriz of Geronimo and his fiancé Kristina, Kelley and Jillian Kriz of Albin, WY, Jennifer and Joe Rodrick of Geronimo, Chase Harris of Stillwater, OK, Tammie Harris of Chugwater, WY, Ashley Harris and Christie Harris of Lone Grove, OK, Crystal Harris, Stephen Harris II and Brandon Harris all of Wichita Falls; 3 great grandkids, Hailey Rodrick of Geronimo, Duggan Kriz and Demmie Kriz of Albin, WY; other relatives and many friends.
