Virginia Louise Hufnagel

Virginia Louise (Simon) Hufnagel was born to Joseph John and Jennie Frances (Jones) Simon on March 22, 1938 at Dover, OK and departed this life at Duncan, OK on December 17, 2012 at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 25 days. Virginia grew up around the Walters and Lawton area, graduating from St. Mary's Catholic School in Lawton. She married James Lee Hufnagel in 1974. She was a mother, homemaker and an avid lover of God's creatures, and had many of them. She enjoyed gardening and pretty much anything else to do with the outdoors. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leo, Johnny, Nick, Paul and Bill; sisters, Emma and Gertrude. Survivors include her husband, James Lee Hufnagel of the Home; a daughter, Susan Perry of Yukon, OK; sons, Sidney Burk, Jr. and wife Dana of Alamogordo, NM, Charles Hufnagel and wife Amanda of Sheridan, WY; 5 grandchildren, Richard Perry of Oklahoma City, Bradley Perry of Berkeley, CA, Calisha Hufnagel of Duncan, Brooklyn Hufnagel and Colton Hufnagel both of Sheridan, WY; sisters, Teresa Swanbery and husband Bob of Fairfield, CT, and Ruth York of Hot Springs, AR; many nieces, nephews and friends.
