Bonita June Anderson

Bonita June (Tabbytosavit) Vardell Anderson was born June 5, 1943 at Lawton, OK and departed this life in Miami, OK on November 25, 2012 at the age of 69 years, 5 months and 20 days. Bonita grew up at Walters. She married Howard Vardell in June of 1961 at Brown Church south of Walters and to the union 4 children were born. She later married Jim Anderson. She has made her home at Walters, Manford and Miami, OK, working several years as an LPN at Cleveland Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed painting pictures, doing puzzles, reading the Bible and reading in general. She also found joy in taking care of the elderly and loved her babies. Bonita was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Opal Louise (Tabbytosavit) Ratliff. She is survived by 3 sons and spouses, Howard Dean Vardell of Walters, Raymond Vardell and Linda of Manford, OK, Gerald Vardell and Shirley of Miami, OK; a daughter, Andrea Jester and husband Mickey of Sapulpa, OK; a sister Juanita Allen and husband Doug of Walters; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
