Neil Pflueger, 84, of Lawton, OK Funeral services at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, OK, Tuesday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m., with burial in the Letitia Cemetery east of Lawton. Neil Edward Pflueger was born to Willard Andrew and Mamie Susan (Hoback) Pflueger on March 25, 1928 at Centralia, Illinois and departed this life in Lawton, OK, on October 26, 2012. He grew up in Centralia, Illinois where he attended school. He left home at the age of 14 and went to work for the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis, retiring in 1988 after 43 years on the job. He moved to Millstadt, IL where he lived until 2008 moving to Lawton, OK. He enjoyed going shooting, watching westerns, playing the guitar and building train sets. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters Claudine and Imalene; and 3 brothers Noawell, Doyle and Everett. Survivors include 3 son and 1 daughter, William and Ingrid Pflueger of Belleville, IL, Donald and Lois Pflueger of Lawton, Ronald Pflueger of St. Louis, and Peggy Gills of Woodstock, GA; 6 grandchildren, Steven Pflueger, Neil Pflueger, Kimberly Gill, Donald Pflueger, Melissa Pflueger and Britteny Barnes; 10 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
