Maria Olga Martinez

Maria Olga (Johnston) Martinez was born to Carlos C. and Delores (Salazar) Johnston in Mission, TX and departed this life in DeSoto, TX on October 20, 2012 at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 25 days. She married Domingo V. Martinez on January 30, 1954 in Floyd County, TX. She was a pastor's wife and loved doing mission work. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing gardening and camping. She was a member of Chattanooga Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Domingo on October 10, 2010; 2 sons, Domingo Martinez Jr. and Daniel Martinez; a daughter, MaryAnn Martinez; a grandson, Lupito Martinez; and a granddaughter, Jada Grace Martinez Survivors include 7 children, Gloria Flores of San Antonio, TX, Irma and husband Danny Borrego of Abilene, TX, Carlos Martinez of Abilene, Irene and husband Tony Lopez of DeSoto, TX, JoAnn and husband Mike Gardner of Bowie, TX, David Martinez and wife Asela of Carnegie, OK, and Ben Martinez and wife Amy of Cedar Hill, TX; 31 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; many brothers and sisters, nieces nephews and friends.
