Doris married James Weldon McClenny on June 5, 1949 at Eva, OK. They moved from Temple, OK to the Perryton area in 1956. She spent her entire life loving and caring for her family and friends, from her siblings as the older sister, her children, her husband and her parents in their later years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perryton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Myrtle Myers and her husband. Survivors include 3 daughters and their spouses, Cheryle and John Barnes of Longview, TX, Suzy and Gary White of San Antonio, TX, Donna Moore of Flower Mound, TX; 3 sisters, Pat Berry of Weatherford, TX, Helen Bates and husband Byerl Bates of Perryton, TX, Ruth Sipes of Elkhart, KS; a brother, Charley Myers of Redondo Beach, CA; 2 sisters-in-law, Dovie Douglass of Elgin, OK and Elizabeth McClenny of Oklahoma City, OK; 14 grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
