Alvin Dearl Adams was born to A. J. and Lula Elizabeth (Burchett) Adams on January 25, 1930 at Manitou, OK and departed this life in Burkburnett, TX on May 24, 2012 at the age of 82 years, 3 months and 29 days. Dearl grew up in the Devol, OK area. He married Wanda Lavada Bridges on July 7, 1951 at Grandfield, OK and to the union 4 children were born. They made their home at Wichita Falls and then back in Devol before settling at Wichita Falls in 1987. She preceded him in death on May 1, 1990. Dearl was in the armored car business in Wichita Falls for 51 years. He was a co-founder and manager of Trinity Armored Security Inc. from 2004 to 2011. He married Mary Joy (Gresham) Hagstrom on January 18, 2011 at Wichita Falls and they made their home in Burkburnett where he attended Central Church of Christ. He enjoyed teasing and making people happy. He loved his family and was very dedicated to them. He was preceded in death by his parent; his first wife, Wanda; and a son, Dearl Duane Adams. Survivors include his wife Mary Joy of the home; a daughter, Laura Rainey and husband Nick of Rockwall, TX; 2 sons, David Adams and wife Connie of Randlett, OK, Doyle Adams and wife Victoria of Wichita Falls; a sister Retha Mullins and husband Billy of Burkburnett; 3 brothers and their wives, Irvin and Wanda Jean Adams of Grandfield, OK, J.W. and Joann Adams of Devol, OK, Charles and Judy Adams of Lone Grove, OK; a great aunt Lorena Givens of Wichita Falls; 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
