Maudie Mae "Sis" (Davis) Wilson was born to Maude Mae (McKee) and David Isaac Davis on May 17, 1917 in Temple, OK and departed this life in Norman, OK on May 24, 2012 at the age of 95 years and 7 days. Sis married Arthur Wilson at Walters and to the union 4 sons were born. She was a homemaker and a great cook. She loved to prepare meals for her family and extended family and friends. There was always room and plenty of food for anyone extra that came by at meal time. She was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church in Walters. Sis was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur in 1992; sons, George in 1974 and Arthur Ray "Hop" in 2004; brothers, David "Bun", Charles "C.J.", Willie "Jack", James "Jim", and Foch; sisters, Hazel, Bettie and Alma; 2 grandsons, Lee and Steve Wilson. Survivors include: 2 sons and their wives, Donald and Lydia Wilson of Walters, OK, Bobby Leon and Carol Wilson of Tecumseh, OK; Daughters-in-law, Loretta Pipkin and husband Randel of Marlow, OK and Betty Wilson of Walters; 2 sisters, Lillian Williams of Lindsey, OK and Ila Hayes of Shawnee, OK; a brother, Leslie "Sonny" Davis and wife Florine of Odessa, TX; 7 grandchildren, Rodney and Kevin Wilson, Susan Hartman, Forrest Wilson, Cary Bob Farris, Todd and Mark Wilson; 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special neighbors, Larry and Kathy Norman; many church friends and special care givers, Sabrina and Kathy.
