William Andrew "W.A." Honeycutt, Jr. was born to William Andrew Sr. and Ada Mae (Harrington) Honeycutt on September 10, 1936 at Belen, NM and departed this life in Wichita Falls, TX on May 4, 2012 at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 24 days. W.A. grew up in New Mexico and Texas. He married Minnie Louise Showers in 1952 and to the union 2 children were born. He later married Loyce Christine Jones on June 11, 1958 and to the union 6 children were born. Through the years he worked for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department and served on the Sheriff's Posse in Colorado, and also worked for Pecos Power, Inc. Most of his years he was employed as a Rancher and Truck Driver, driving for Harvey Cattle Co. and Capital Land and Cattle among others. He returned to Randlett, OK, from Monte Vista, CO in 2007. He was a member of the American Cattle Association, the NRA, the AQHA, the American Trail Riders Association and the PRCA riding bulls, bareback and saddle broncs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, woodworking and served as a hunting guide for the State of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Loyce Christine in 1992; a daughter, Nita Honeycutt in 1996; 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by 7 children and their spouses, Wayne Honeycutt and Dana of Hot Springs, AR, Shirley Fowler and Johnny of Sunset, TX Eddie Honeycutt and friend Becky of Alexandria, LA, Betty Cassell and Sam Seacraft of Randlett, OK, Willie Honeycutt and Shayla of Burkburnett, TX, Robert Honeycutt and Tiffany of Guymon, OK and Milton Honeycutt and Brittany of Randlett, OK; a sister Ruby Crain of Austin, TX; 23 grandchildren and 1 on the way; 23 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; other relatives and many friends.
