Peggy Sue Long

Peggy Sue (Veach) Long was born to Bobby Eugene and Juanita (McCartney) Veach on October 13, 1961 at Sulphur, OK and departed this life in Duncan, OK on March 8, 2012 at the age of 50 years, 4 months and 24 days. Peggy grew up at Davis, OK, coming to Walters with her family in 1976. She has made her home mainly in the Lawton and Walters area through the years. She enjoyed listening to music, sitting outside, going to the lake and riding motorcycles. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Bobby Dale Veach in 1980. Survivors include a son Clinton Busse of Lawton; a daughter, Tara Strawderman and husband Brian of Lawton; a sister, Debbie Bellamy and husband Butch of Walters; 2 brothers, Mike Veach of Walters and Dwight Veach and wife Trecia of Wichita Falls, TX; a granddaughter, Allison Busse, plus one on the way; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
